We are pleased to announce the completion of our new gallery and atelier near Kappabashi in Tokyo.
On the first floor, we have established a dedicated workshop where we carry out the final finishing and refinement of our products, including additional handwork and adjustments, as well as maintenance and aftercare for pieces purchased by our customers. This new environment allows us to provide an even higher standard of craftsmanship and long-term care for every piece.
The gallery on the second floor has been reimagined as an even more refined, private, and tranquil space. Blending contemporary design with traditional Japanese aesthetics, it offers a calm and elegant atmosphere where guests can take their time, appreciate the details of each piece, and enjoy a truly personal experience.
At present, this new gallery is reserved exclusively for customers who have previously supported our brand.
More than simply a place to purchase knives, this space was created as an expression of our gratitude to those who have walked alongside us and supported KAKINUMA throughout our journey. Together with exceptional designers and skilled artisans, we have carefully created an environment where our guests can experience the depth of Japanese craftsmanship and the spirit of hospitality that lies at the heart of our brand.
We have also prepared a few small surprises for our returning guests.
