What materials are used?
We primarily use stainless steel materials, but the specific details are considered a trade secret.
We are constantly working to improve quality by reassessing the materials themselves and refining our manufacturing processes. When necessary, we also adopt new types of steel to achieve better results.
The reason we deliberately choose not to disclose the types of steel we use is because we feel that, in recent years, “steel brands” have started to take on a life of their own. Not all sales staff are experts in knives, and even if a customer hears the name of a particular steel, it can be difficult to verify whether that material is truly being used.
That is why we encourage our customers not to evaluate knives based solely on the type of steel, but instead to focus on who is responsible for making and selling the product—and with what kind of philosophy and sense of responsibility.
To use a culinary analogy: no matter how high-quality the ingredients are, the final result depends on the skill of the chef. The same applies to knives—while the quality of the steel is certainly important, we believe that the craftsmanship involved in production and the quality control on the seller’s side are even more crucial.
We do not rely on the branding power of steel materials to sell our products. Instead, we take pride in our own brand and deliver our products with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment.
